Womens Day of Nature & Nurturing
Date: Saturday 26th January
Cost: 80 euro per person
Time: 10am - 2.30 pm
A special Women's Day of Nature and Nurturing in Rambling Rose House in the Wicklow Mountains near Aughrim, approx 1 hour from Dublin.
We will start the morning with a warm drink and nutritious snack. We will listen to a little talk on wild food foraging before heading out for a walk on the mountain road, looking at the wild foods that are in the hedgerows at this time of year. Notes for Springtime foraging will be provided and each person will get to take home a sample of something you can make simply at that time of year, such as a wild pesto.
Over the course of the morning we will listen to a talk by Aisling Kirwan from Cooking up Change, Aisling is a qualified nutritionist and a wonderful cook and an athlete to boot! Aisling will share lots of ideas for making our food more nutritious, how to make simple energy giving snacks, desserts, breads, salads.
Anne will introduce us to the Phyt’s natural, organic skincare range and share some personalised tips for skincare during the Winter months. Each person will have the choice of a scalp massage using warmed organic oils or a revitalising and invigorating face massage using Phyt's organic massage cream. See Tranquility by Anne for more on the wonderful therapies Anne has to offer.
We will have lunch together with wild and nutritious foods followed by one of Aisling's delicious desserts.
We will finish up between 2.30 and 3pm.
In the event of snow we will offer a full refund or the option to attend at another date in January/early February.
Looking forward to it!
